We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising the kitchen staff, managing food service operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Develop and create new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events and catering services
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure consistent quality of food presentation and taste
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management principles and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Creativity and ability to develop innovative menu items
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Skills:
- Supervising: Ability to oversee kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Restaurant Management: Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, customer service, and staff scheduling.
- Food Service Management: Experience managing food service operations, including menu planning, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Kitchen Management: Proficiency in managing all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking techniques, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Food Management: Ability to manage food inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
- Catering: Experience in planning and executing catering services for special events.
- Kitchen: Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Food Safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Food Preparation: Proficiency in preparing a variety of dishes using different cooking techniques.```

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
