Public Relations/Social Media & Digital Content Intern

The Public Relations/Digital Content Management Intern is an exciting new internship that we are offering at Christian Counseling Associates (CCA). We’re looking for students who are excited and motivated to work in all aspects of social media and digital content creation as part of their required academic program. 

In this internship, the student will contribute to CCA's social media campaign planning, our podcast production, website maintenance, and digital content creation including images and video. The internship is non- paid and would require 12-15 hours per week. 

CCA provides individual, marriage, and family counseling in over 75 locations in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Western New York, and West Virginia. We serve Christians who want their faith integrated into the counseling process and those holding any beliefs or attitudes toward spirituality. We are the leading faith based counseling organization in the Tri-State Area. Our internship program will provide students with experience in managing a major public relations campaign with wide ranging impact.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support the creation of content and contribute to social media campaign planning and execution.

• Create imagery by using digital photography, basic video production, and the development of visual content using a variety of social media platforms.

• Producing website content daily including blog writing.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with social media and web updating tools
• Experience with content writing for a variety of media programs including Constant Contact, WordPress, Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Creation of Infographics that will integrate with Constant Contact and Social Media.
• Excellent grammar and editing skills.
• Experience working in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign is a plus.
