(Senior) Director of Sales Position Overview:
As the (Senior) Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's revenue growth and ensuring the efficiency of the sales organization. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic leadership, process optimization, team management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in sales operations, team motivation, and a commitment to achieving key performance indicators.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage a sales team to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals which includes the following:
- Territory based Account Executives (currently 6)
Inside Sales Professionals (currently 3)
Coach, mentor, and train sales team on best practices (i.e., key value propositions for each client segment, overcoming objections, clearing blockers, etc.)
Conduct in-field training with the sales team (ideally 2 weeks per month)
Manage and attend in-person events (i.e., trade conferences)
Establish activity and origination targets
Design compensation plans to achieve desired outcomes within targeted unit economics, including but not limited to, setting territories, etc.
Own key relationships with clients, brokers, partnerships other origination sources
Manage recruiting, training, and onboarding for sales personnel
Oversee business development spend to ensure adherence to company policy and prevent abuse
Manage spend on company Amex / approval of expense reports
Architect sales operational processes and work interdepartmentally to ensure seamless handoffs
Leverage best in class sales technology and ensure organization wide adoption
Note our sales team is on Salesforce and sales CRM and Pardot for email marketing, and as such, experience with Salesforce is a must
Stay up to date with regulatory and competitive dynamics in our core markets
Partner with marketing department to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation
Assist with integrations of tuck in acquisitions
Other duties as assigned
KPIs:
Origination goals for each product (single event, bulk purchase, and legal funding)
Business development expense / originations <= 15%
Qualifications:
7-10+ years in a sales leadership role
Proven track record managing a territory based outside sales team
Proven track record achieving company goals / quotas
Experience in B2B "relationships" sales
Experience with Salesforce
Ideal candidate is located in the Western United States (remote)
