WHAT YOU NEED:

· Bachelor’s in engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience

· Programming experience on CNC mills and CNC lathes

· Robotic programming is a plus

· Ability to read prints, Gd&T and interpret solid models

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Work from prints/models to develop CNC milling or turning processes.

· Calculate cycle times, chip loads, feeds/speeds and other engineering calculations.

· Document set up sheets, work instructions and tool lists.

· Generate CNC code (conversational/G and M code experience). MasterCam is a plus.

· Select cutting tools, fixtures, chuck jaws and/or collets.

· Train machinists on the process including quality control plans.

· Debug and troubleshoot set ups, programs, tooling and process issues.

· Work on special projects to improve processes, tooling and set up time.

· Collaborate with technical team members.
