JOB DESCRIPTION — MARKET TEAM MANAGER (MTM)

The manager in conjunction with the Regional Manager, exercises responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases growth, profitability, and market share, by directing, coordinating, and monitoring all growth, branch operation, and personnel development activities.

Job Duties:
 Assess local market conditions, identify current and prospective growth opportunities
 Implementing financial objectives and business plans for the branch
 Guide operational aspects of the branch which includes but is not limited to customer service, human resources, and administration in a manner that supports reaching the profitability goals.
 Ensure all areas of work performance and departments are properly staffed and directed
 Create an environment orientated to trust, open communication, creative thinking & cohesive team effort.
 Lead by setting a good example (role model) – behavior consistent with words
 Oversee branch financial management
 Assist Regional Team Leader in developing branch and organizational objectives, and also in formulating budgets
 Organize & facilitate regular team meetings. (All team members in the branch)
 Manage the branch honestly, follow high ethical standards, and comply with all government regulations
 Ensure the safekeeping of company assets, including structures, equipment, inventory and cash
 Maintain and enforce personnel policy
 Select, promote, and discharge employees within the branch in accordance with basic personnel policy with guidance from Corporate HR
 Evaluate regularly the effectiveness of the branch operation, to see that policies are being observed and that goals are being attained
 Achieve the profitability goals/objectives of the division/branch and organization
 Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
 Increase personal knowledge and expertise in leadership, business, appropriate technology, etc.
 Follow company policies and procedures
 Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

 Professional demeanor
 Experience monitoring the marketplace to identify business opportunities
 Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiating skills

 Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
 Team player who works productively with a wide range of people
 Proven history of profit and loss management to maximize financial performance
 Complies with equal employment opportunity laws, regulations, and company policies related to discrimination in hiring, firing, promotion, and compensation, including sexual harassment
 Demonstrated competency in hiring, developing, and evaluating employees to achieve corporate and personal objectives
 Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
 Superior organizational skills
 Experience developing and implementing business plans and goals
 Demonstrated competency in budgeting, forecasting, and planning
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
 Education: High school diploma/GED required
(Bachelor's degree preferred)
 Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar position
(3 years preferred)
Minimum 3 years in a progressive position
(5 years preferred)
Supervisory experience required
