  • Create technical documentation and reports of the work you do and the problems you solve.
  • Utilize measurement and test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and network analyzers.

Other important duties:

  • Contribute your expertise to continuous improvement and product improvement initiatives.
  • Adapt to rapidly changing products and priorities.
  • Effectively contribute to a high-energy and highly collaborative environment.
  • Maintain a high standard for communication and teamwork.

What you bring:

  • 3 years’ experience in a test or technician role in high tech manufacturing or a similar service organization.
  • An associate degree in physics, optics, photonics, electronics technology, mechanical engineering technology, or a similar field of study.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronics, optics, or mechanical manufacturing.
  • Hands on experience with building, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical systems.

Added Advantage:

  • Bachelor’s degree in physics or another hard science.
  • Experience with building and testing laser systems.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S concepts.
  • An understanding of or previous experience with RF power supplies.
  • Experience handling optics and part of an assembly process.
