Production Supervisor 2nd shift

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production workers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Enforce company policies and standards within the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with various departments to meet customer deadlines.
• Identify and implement measures to enhance production methods and product quality.
• Lead hiring, training, and development initiatives for new and existing employees.
• Analyze work orders and instructions to optimize processes and equipment usage.
• Manage employee schedules to meet production targets.
• Handle administrative tasks such as performance reviews and timecard approvals.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for issues.
• Maintain accurate records of employee time and attendance.
• Ensure a safe working environment and prompt reporting of safety incidents.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing (aerospace experience preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
