Job Description

Local Candidates only and who is willing to be onsite 3 days a week in Boston/Needham.

KEYS TO THE POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the delivery of high-quality business solutions, including participating in architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support •
Be a thought partner to Data Experience folks/Business analysts as they work with our business partners
Work closely with business analysts and support them with technical solutions to meet their requirements
Work with business teams, project managers, and systems analysts to review and qualify business requirements, functional specifications, use-cases, and test plans
Design, prototype and code new software components and applications based on functional specifications across the full stack – services, web and mobile clients, infrastructure, and back-end
Coordinate with analyst teams and vendors to execute test plans and provide support during user acceptance testing
Modify and enhance existing systems to incorporate new functionality and to optimize them for performance
Author technical design and support documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of demonstrated experience designing and developing applications and services using Java version 11 or higher
Other relevant enterprise technologies like Spring, Springboot3, etc.
Experience developing applications with cloud technologies such as AWS desired
Experience using Jenkins and GIT • Exposure to graphiql, pub/sub using Kafka is not required, but a plus
Familiarity with designing and developing complex web services using REST, JavaScript/NodeJS, Java, and related technologies • Familiarity with developing web applications using HTML5, CSS, and modern UI frameworks such as Angular and React
KEYS TO THE POSITION 1. 15+ years of development experience with at least 7 years with Java. 2. 5+ years of leadership experience – work independently, mentor others, technical leadership, ownership of the project – ability to make suggestions, architecture and design. 3. Must have experience working with Spring and AWS. 4. Nodejs and React would be a + 5. Financial services experience is a + 6. Basic understanding of and Kafka and graphiQL 7.
Person has to be in the office in Boston/Needham 3 days a week.
