Sign Installer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sign Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and removal of signage across various locations. Preferred, but not required, Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B, with a clean driving record and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys to gather essential data.
• Review installation drawings beforehand to ensure job comprehension and address any queries in advance.
• Load work-supplied vehicles with signage and necessary supplies.
• Engage with customers to provide consultations and address inquiries.
• Execute installation tasks including monuments, pylons, channel letters, vinyl graphics, neon, and interior signage.
• Ensure accurate installation as per plans, seeking clarification from supervisors if discrepancies arise.
• Perform drilling and wiring according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues encountered in the field.
• Conduct service inspections and carry out necessary repairs.
• Operate power tools such as drills, saws, jackhammers, and post diggers.
• Utilize aerial equipment like boom lifts and scissor lifts.

Qualifications:

• Preferred, but not required, valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B, with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in critical thinking and decision-making.
• Sound knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, and products.
• Experience in Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding and stick welding.
• Ability to interpret graphic proofs, take accurate measurements, and work precisely with plastics and metals using various fabrication tools.
• Proficiency in installing a variety of signs, electrical components, and mounting channel letters, sign cabinets, or raceways.
• Capability to paint signs.
• Flexibility with working hours including early mornings, some weekends, and extended hours.
• Physically fit with good hand dexterity.
