Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for the plant site, encompassing electrical, PLC, DCS, pneumatic circuits, networking, and all other components related to automated chemical processes.
2. Ensure that control systems meet regulatory requirements, such as SIL/LOPA assessments.
3. Create and maintain instrument and electrical drawings for control systems, including motor elementaries and instrument loop sheets.
4. Assist the maintenance team with assigned work, breakdowns, and emergency work orders.
5. Maintain PLC documentation, including records from equipment suppliers and an archive of PLC programs and machine controls drawings.
6. Provide training and mentorship to technicians and technical staff members on control system strategies and installations.
7. Collaborate in the development and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, both internally and with external vendors.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation within chemical manufacturing plants.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation Controls.
• Knowledge of IT and OT network communication protocols.
• Understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits in ICS (Industrial Control Systems) environments, along with appropriate mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for ICS environments.
• Working knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management) and DHS (Department of Homeland Security) regulatory requirements.
• Must have the ability to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
