Structural Engineer

We're hiring Structural Engineers to join our team supporting any of our 12 Business Units to bolster these expanding groups.

ABOUT THE JOB

First and most importantly, you will be an ISG Employee Owner working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to deliver for our clients. As a member of a fully integrated team, you will work with clients to provide optimized structural engineering solutions for a variety of project types. You will assist clients with realizing what is possible with their buildings.

We're looking for someone with strong passion for structural engineering and client service, who thinks and designs with sustainability and creativity to deliver the best analysis and options for our clients. We are also looking for someone who enjoys staying engaged in various professional organizations to continue to learn, grow and influence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Work closely on construction plans with clients, architects, and other engineering professionals.
• Perform structural design and analysis calculations, generating drawings and other technical duties.
• Calculate loads and stresses on different parts of a structure.
• Inspect buildings and recommend options for repairs or demolition.
• Monitor engineering design schedules and budgets.
• Work collaboratively with multi-discipline engineering teams.
• Field measure and document existing buildings.
• Produce and coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 5+ years of experience in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of the design standards and codes for public building design.
• A high level of technical and organizational skill accompanied by strong oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
