Location: Peachtree Corners/Norcross with hybrid option
Compensation: $90k-$100k

Position Overview:

As the Accounting Manager, you'll be at the forefront of shaping their financial landscape. With the company transitioning from outsourced financials to an in-house accounting team, this is a prime opportunity for you to make your mark. You'll oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP standards. This hands-on yet strategic role will involve preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collaborating closely with the CEO and Board of Directors on financial strategies. Furthermore, this role offers substantial career growth potential, with opportunities to progress to Controller and CFO positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable, payments, and payroll
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Oversee the monthly financial close process, including P&L, Balance Sheet, CFS, and Lender reporting package
  • Assist in budget creation, bank reporting, and Board of Directors presentations
  • Manage outsourced HR services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a software or tech environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
  • Experience working with private equity-backed companies is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
