General Summary:

The MIS Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the MIS Director and all other department personnel with all clerical and administrative functions within the department. The MIS Coordinator reports to the Department Head.

 

Preferred Job Skills:

  • Able to demonstrate advanced computer and keyboard skills to include MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to maintain required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

  • Able to maintain a pleasant customer service attitude while under pressure.
  • High level of professional business acumen.

 

Mandatory Hiring Requirements:

References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Tracking and ordering of required equipment for the deployment of software.
  • Requisitioning of equipment to Divisions and Job Sites.
  • Manage and distribute other needed supplies.
  • Review and assign help desk tickets.
  • Maintaining of software training materials.
  • Providing training on basic software usage.
  • Maintain and assign software licenses.
  • Assist team with expense reports.
  • Assist in special projects and testing of software.
  • Organize training sessions including organizing Teams meeting, reserving conference rooms, travel arrangements, food etc.
  • Provide administrative support for department staff to include reports, spreadsheets, labels, schedules, communications, filing, etc.
  • Become sufficiently familiar with other office support to allow for reliable
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed by the Department Head.


Position Requirements:

  • License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Certification: None
  • Education: High School Graduate or GED, 4-year degree in Business Administration or like degree. Work experience will be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years experiences in an MIS environment.


Working Conditions:

  • Work in a climate-controlled office setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
  • Considerable amount of time making repetitive motions.
  • Considerable amount of time sitting.
  • Considerable amount of time using telephone and computer.
  • Sounds, noise levels may be distracting or uncomfortable.

 

Required Physical/Mental Functions:

  • Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.
  • Operate company vehicle.
  • Read and interpret instructional manuals and written instructions.
  • Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead.
  • Able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Tolerant to prolonged sitting.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
