POSITION : SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/CLINICAL FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
+ Review clinics' financial statements for reasonableness monthly, including general ledger transactions, cost per treatment, and monthly journal entries and reconciliation schedules.
+ Perform month end closing for assigned clinics, including monthly bank reconciliation, monthly inventory reconciliation, monthly receivable posting and reconciliation, other general ledger and related monthly closing activities, and internal financial statement preparation.
+ Monitor cash balance daily for all clinics. Review banking transactions online. Prepare cash transfers weekly for payable disbursements, biweekly for payroll disbursements, and monthly for distribution.
+ Coordinate with other accounting staffs in resolving any inventory and payable issues such as inventory pricing discrepancy, purchase order G/L coding errors, month end inventory spreadsheet problems, intercompany inventory transfer issues, and any other issue related inventory and payable cycle. Track various rebate programs and assist payable staffs with the rebate coding questions.
+ Coordinate with other accounting staffs in resolving any payroll issues. Prepare payroll billing for shared employees among clinics including accurately allocating payroll amount in correct time period to the correct clinic.
+ Other accounting related duties include tracking expenditures for all clinics and billing as needed, preparing miscellaneous billings such as study billing and hospital billing etc. as needed, chairing cost report preparation, assisting external auditors during financial statements audit, and any other special projects and tasks as assigned and delegated.
+ Adhere to HSM Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, HSM Policies and Procedures, HSM Employee Benefit Plan Policies and Procedures, and HIPPA Privacy and Security Initiatives.
+ Other accounting duties as assigned Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required with a minimum of two years' experience
+ CPA/public accounting experience preferred .
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills
+ Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
+ Motivated, self-driven, integrity
