We are currently seeking a candidate with drive and passion to join our team as Retail Merchandiser to service the British Columbia area.  You will be responsible for cultivating relationships within store retail teams, ensuring the designated product is properly displayed as per company guidelines and being marketed effectively within the retail locations assigned in your territory.

About This Opportunity

Work Schedule: Up to 20 Hours per Week (PT, Permanent);

Compensation Rate: $20-21/hr + Mileage Reimbursement $0.50 cents/km

Job Responsibilities:

  • Travels to various retail locations in to set up and stock store fixtures/displays efficiently and accurately by following provided planograms and merchandising standards.
  • Merchandise, unpack and replenish stock in retail locations designated in your territory for Timex Group Canada brand portfolio.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and provide feedback as needed.
  • Gain strong knowledge of the brand and communicate as needed to retail staff and consumers when merchandising in store.
  • Build relationships with retail manager/staff to help drive sell through to achieve sales plans.
  • Manage and meet deadline requests as required such as timesheets, expense reports, merchandising photos and any additional requirements with accuracy.

Job Requirements:

  • Incumbent must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be proactive, efficient, a good problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must have must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for use during working hours.  A professional corporate image is required. 
  • Road travel is necessary, along with substantial bending, standing, stretching, crouching and reaching movements to stock product and merchandise in branded/retailer displays.  Maybe necessary to carry stock, P.O.P material, displays and collateral transported in personal vehicle.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time accurately.
  • Completion of secondary school and familiarity with retail merchandising.
