Slitting Machine Operator (Production Associate)

Established in 1984, Canadian Motivel Inc. is supplier to the electrical market and is a key supplier in supporting the power grid. We are currently looking for a production associate to join our converting team.

Position Details: Operation of paper converting machines to form products. Set up machines. Clean, lubricate machinery & equipment. Measure or weigh completed products.

What we are looking for:

· Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.

· Mechanically Inclined

· Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

· Good critical thinking skills to troubleshoot machine issues.

· Experience with slitting machines will be taken into consideration.

Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and be minimum 18 years of age

• Ability to lift to 35 lb. /16 kg.

The Location: For those living in Cambridge, our facility is located near a number of GRT transit stops.

Shift: 8:00am –4:30pm
