Buyer (contract 6 month)

Location: Vaughan, ON

Hours Of Operation: 8 am - 4:30pm

Requirement: On site

Pay Rate: $ 25- $ 30/per hr.

Summary: You will play a crucial role in the procurement process. Additional responsibilities will be Sourcing, Supplier Negotiations, Purchase Order Creation, Supplier Relationship Management and Market Research and Analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project BOM and identify items to be purchased vs assigned from inventory.
• Identify appropriate suppliers to quote on BOM items required.
• Request quotations for all BOM items.
• Prepare Purchase orders and gate approval to issue.
• Send POs and establish delivery dates from suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments and agreed upon pricing.
• Confirm parts are received with the receiving clerk at buttermilk.
• Great communication skills, comprehension skills
• Ability to learn the company's portal to generate the purchase orders.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Buying electrical components (large volume)
• Relevant industry experience Automation, Manufacturing, Technical, Pneumatic/Hydraulic and or Steel background.
• Creating purchase orders.
