Emerging Technology Technical Writer - Copywriter - Proposals and Content

Simply put, we need a writer. We know tech. If you know writing, let's talk.

We're a rapidly growing small business seeking a creative writer and content creator. Projects will vary, but ideally seeking a candidate to conduct research, compile evidence, write a mix of marketing materials, white papers, user stories, and customer content.

We're heavy on engineers writing code, but light on someone generating content.

Key topics include-- cloud computing, edge computing, machine learning, machine vision, kubernetes, software as a service (SaaS), video as a service (VaaS), remote sensing, and critical infrastructure. Applicant does not need to be an expert in these topics, however, able to understand essential elements, and generate written content outlining features.

Tech writer generates written content for publications, internet media, research based white papers, and proposals. We have a graphics designer who you'll be working alongside to make the content pop.

Daily tasks vary widely depending on the type of content needed, but role requires the ability to be able to understand our proprietary software technology in addition to the clients needs and produce custom written content.

COPYWRITER SKILLS NEEDED

Excellent Language Proficiency
Knowledge of the structure and content of the desired language including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar, in addition to advanced reading comprehension skills.
Above Average Communication Skills
This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media as well as excellent active listening skills.
Media Knowledge
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
Sales and Marketing Techniques
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics across print and digital is needed along with current trends in product demonstration and sales techniques.
Customer Service
Ability to provide and knowledge of the principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Clerical Skills
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
