What You'll Do:
- Operate with Excellence: Set up and operate printing presses in a safe manner to produce high-quality products with minimal waste; meeting and exceeding customer specifications.
- Lead by Example: Provide direction and guidance to assistant technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.
- Drive Efficiency: Constantly seek opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity while maintaining superior quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and TPM, contributing to both departmental and company-wide success.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience Matters: Previous experience as a press operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in flexographic packaging.
- Safety First: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by identifying and addressing unsafe behaviors and conditions.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
