Jones Family Orthodontics is currently hiring for a full-time Orthodontic Assistant / Clinic Aide to help patients while assisting our orthodontist in the Monroe, WA area. This position at our dental office earns a competitive wage of up to $28/hr.

DAY-TO-DAY

This position at our dentistry clinic works a schedule of Monday, 8:30 am - 6:30 pm, Tuesday, 6:50 am - 4:50 pm, and Wednesday, 6:50 am - 4:50 pm. This job in the field of dentistry also requires one or two Thursday shifts per month, from 6:50 am to 4:50 pm. Enjoy your long weekends off!

As an Orthodontic Assistant / Clinic Aide, you help our patients improve their smiles by assisting the orthodontist with procedures. With your warm, friendly demeanor, you put our patients at ease and make sure they're settled comfortably as you prep them to see the doctor. Highly attentive to both the patient and doctor, you readily anticipate their needs. You quickly hand the correct tool to the orthodontist as they apply and examine corrective devices.

Once the doctor has finished the exam, they provide you with instructions, and you finish the appointment by carefully following those directions. Thanks to your experience in orthodontia or dental assisting, you quickly learn how to aid patients. You capably change elastics, explain how often to change aligners, and provide information about brushing and cleaning. Whether a patient has metal braces, clear aligners, or a removable retainer, you are knowledgeable about the proper care of these devices. You also keep an eye on how the clinic is functioning overall, and you ensure the equipment is properly maintained. You love working in a clinic that is dedicated to changing smiles and changing lives!
