Accounting Professional/Experienced Quickbooks Bookkeeper

We are looking for an Accounting Professional to join our team! You will be responsible for managing business accounting and assisting with tax preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Management of business accounting through QuickBooks
• Assistance with preparation of client tax returns
• Oversight of client bill pay services
• Process development & financial reporting

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience with accounting through QuickBooks
• Basic knowledge of GAAP
• Basic understanding of financial statements
• Intellectual curiosity - willingness to learn
• Comfort with lack of process and assistance in helping build process
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communicator (internally and with clients)

Work Environment:

• Brookhaven embraces remote working. Proximity to the office is not required
• In person meetings are rare but may be occasionally required throughout the year
