The Social Media + Marketing Assistant is responsible for helping to build and engage our fitness community of current and prospective members on a daily basis. An essential component is communicating the company's brand in an authentic, positive way across all platforms. This is a part-time position currently 5-10 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding in the future. The Social Media + Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

• Support the social asset production process - filming, editing, and posting photos and videos to social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube)
• Assist with creating and executing social media schedule
• Create engaging copy while ensuring brand consistency through tone, voice
• Ordering print materials (business cards, posters, etc.)
• Email marketing support

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube platforms
• 1-2 years of work experience in social media or other marketing function
• Proficient using iMovie or similar editing software
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Hootsuite is a plus
• Must have excellent communication skills, positive energy, and time management skills
