Experience Cooks/Prep Cook

Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables and marinating meats
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is stored properly and at the correct temperature
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or catering kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Skills:
- Cook: Proficient in cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations and standards
- Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed
- Knife: Skillful handling of knives for food preparation
- Kitchen: Familiarity with kitchen equipment and organization
- Food Safety: Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Meal Preparation: Ability to efficiently prepare meals according to recipes and customer orders
- Culinary: Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
