Position Summary Information

Primary Purpose
Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment Technology & Analytics, the CRM Enrollment Support and Communications Specialist will serve as a member of the Enrollment Technology and Analytics team, providing technical support for the Customer Relationship Management ( CRM) system, and other enrollment technology utilized by the Division of Enrollment Strategy.

The CRM Enrollment Support and Communications Specialist is responsible for the execution of communication campaigns designed to increase public awareness, interest and enrollment in Pacific's undergraduate and graduate programs across the three campus locations. This position advises Enrollment Strategy leadership on the technical aspects of communication through the CRM and assists the Enrollment Marketing team in the development of complex communication plans. The CRM Enrollment Support and Communications Specialist manage the technical components and new deployment of engagement tools for Enrollment Strategy which assist in strengthening enrollment at Pacific.

The CRM Enrollment Support and Communications Specialist is also responsible for providing direct support to the Manager of Enrollment Operations and Technology and Processing Associates in administrative, analytical, and operational functions. They will champion the creation and implementation of processes to enable professional and operations staff to perform their daily responsibilities most efficiently and accurately.
Essential Functions
  1. Executes the annual communication plan through the CRM for undergraduate and graduate admission in alignment with the university's strategic enrollment plan.
  2. Manages and implements email communication strategy for recruitment, admission, and financial aid efforts, including template design, audience segmentation, personalization, testing, scheduling, automation, and deployment.
  3. Support all Banner and Slate needs of the admission teams, including but not limited to marketing and communications; travel; events; application management; application review; scholarship programming; decision release; and building and updating Slate-hosted applications, forms, portals, and decision letters.
  4. Create and manage queries and reports for the purpose of measuring, analyzing, and assessing admission data and results.
  5. Assist with data reporting for users of the CRM, (Salesforce and Slate) and maintain strong relationships with functional clients.
  6. Requiring deep knowledge of enrollment data at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, creates and maintains target audience reports within the CRM for delivery of broadcast emails to target populations on behalf of undergraduate admission, graduate admission, and financial aid.
  7. Advises Enrollment Marketing, Graduate Enrollment and Undergraduate Admissions on the technical aspects of communication plans and projects.
  8. Creates and maintains communications templates within the CRM in alignment with university brand standards.
  9. Researches and proposes improvement to the academic and business systems for the University.
  10. In collaboration with Enrollment Marketing, leads projects to identify, implement and utilize or enhance new and existing marketing, communication, and prospective student engagement tools.
  11. Stays current in digital trends, best practices, and new marketing/communication technologies and makes recommendations on the use of emerging communication technology.
  12. Works with Enrollment Strategy leadership in the creation of effective communication strategies to increase engagement between prospective students and admission staff.
  13. This position will require a flexible work schedule, including some nights and weekends, and the willingness to travel on an occasional basis is necessary.
  14. Contributes to the overall success of the Enrollment Technology and Analytics team by performing all other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (Two (2) years of full-time experience in the same/similar position is equal to one (1) year of completed post-high school education coursework).
  • Two (2) years of work experience in marketing, communications, admissions, enrollment technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced HTML/CSS knowledge or the willingness to master the skill within the first 90 days of the job.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to be resourceful, proactive and seek assistance as needed.
  • Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM.
  • Google Analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of email compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation technology.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills.
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Work is performed in normal office environment. Work may be required during standard and non-standard business hours and weekends. Occasional travel both local and overnight.
Hiring Range $64,480 - $65,880 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Background Check Statement
