Health Link Home Health Agency has an exciting opportunity! We are seeking an experienced and adept Home Health Billing Specialist to join our growing team!

As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for helping create and complete accurate billing and collections of all claims submitted for payments to Medicare and commercial insurance health care programs.

What You'll Do:

• Audit charts for preparation for billing in accordance with requirements
• Processing, monitoring, and collecting of Medicare and other commercial insurance claims in accordance with payer requirements
• Verifying accuracy of billing data and revising any errors
• Importing/posting payments from all payer types
• Creating and distributing various financial reports as needed
• Timely resolution of all claims including appeals
• Following up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections via phone calls, re-submissions and adjustments for billing errors
• Working with personal information and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Perform all other duties assigned

• Kinnser experience is a plus!

-Full Time and NOT A REMOTE POSITION

-Pay Starts from $25/hr

Requirements

• You are highly organized and have strong attention to detail
• You are experienced with knowledge of DDE and common clearinghouses
• You are an analytical thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills
• You are a team players who is passionate about their work and will actively contribute to a positive, collaborate environment
