Job Description: As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to the client's specifications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff.

The Senior Systems Engineer / SharePoint developer will analyze the current state of the Office of Nursing Service's (ONS) SharePoint site for the Nurse Qualification Standards Modernization Project. The candidate will make recommendations for further development to ONS. Accepted recommendations will be developed and content will be organized supporting the program's implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation and recommendations to the Veterans Health Administration's Office of Nursing Services (ONS) on the current state of the ONS SharePoint site for the Nurse Qualification Standards Modernization Program.
• Provide SharePoint Development activities for the ONS SharePoint site
• Train others in the use of the ONS SharePoint site
• Upload content to the ONS SharePoint site
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.

• Extensive experience in the development and sustainment of SharePoint sites
• BA or BS degree with at least 8 years of experience
• Extensive experience preparing briefings on the use of SharePoint sites
• Experience in supporting organizations in their change management efforts as organizations transformed
• Analytical skills and ability to review data and make fact-based recommendations
• Demonstrated communications skills (persuasive written, oral, and presentation skills)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams).
• Must have excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively with small teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with the Office of Nursing Services, Veterans Health Administration
