Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and construction teams to develop architectural designs and plans for residential construction projects, including full home renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, pop tops, basements, and attics.
  • Produce detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and ensure design feasibility.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and are executed to the highest standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present and refine design concepts.
  • Collaborate with the design and construction teams to integrate sustainable and innovative design solutions into projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in residential architectural design and construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field is preferred. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience designing small and large-scale projects, encompassing bathrooms, kitchens, additions, attics, basements, and pop tops, from junior to senior levels.
  • In-depth understanding of structural and HVAC engineering and its implications on architectural design.
  • Proficient with Chief Architect or in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
  • Must be proficient in selecting construction materials including tile, countertops, flooring, windows, doors, etc.
  • Experience in interior design is a plus.
  • Ability to select soft finishes such as furnishings, drapery, etc.
  • Familiarity with designing within specified budgets and timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with Owners, vendors, and subcontractors at a high level.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Full Time
  • Salary at $60,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
