Job Description:
Director of Product Marketing, Cloud Data Services
We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to drive the product marketing strategy and vision across the HPE cloud data services portfolio (e.g. hybrid cloud data management, data protection, hyper-converged infrastructure, and AI Operations. In this role, you will lead a team of product marketers who see the world from our customers' eyes and build compelling, strategic narratives to drive awareness and preference for HPE's data management services.
To be a successful candidate, you will have proven experience leading product marketing at a public cloud or SaaS company, or across early- and mid-stage businesses. You should have a track record of building compelling narratives and creative content that connects with customers across the buyer's journey. You should be seasoned in positioning products in the market to drive instant clarity for buyers and sellers on the right product for the right use case. You should have a passion for technology, but proven ability to captivate new customers above the technical details. You should have proven experience in leading and building high performance teams. You'll work closely with senior leadership, product management, worldwide sales, and GTM (Go-to-Market) teams to get the right message out to the market and drive product launches. This is a critical role in driving the transformation and growth of the HPE Storage and Data Services business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing product marketing team focused on creating thought leadership and accelerating pipeline through impactful messaging, positioning, and storytelling
- Create differentiated messaging and impactful content that drives demand for HPE Storage's portfolio of products and services
- Enable our global sales force and channel partners to effectively communicate the value of HPE Data Services portfolio of products and services
- Represent the company and influence industry analysts, press, and influencers including Gartner, IDC, and Forrester
- Own the marketing content strategy across the portfolio for our website, buyer's journey, press releases, briefings, sales plays, etc
- Drive thought leadership that creates attention to HPE's POV across data management, cloud, HCI, and AIOps
Education and Experience Required
- BS in Marketing or Engineering field; MBA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years marketing experience in a relevant industry, across product marketing, product management, or solutions marketing. Experience in marketing cloud-native or SaaS solutions preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing and leading a marketing team
- Subject matter expertise in hybrid cloud, cloud services, data management, storage as a service, HCI, data center infrastructure, enterprise storage, and/or data protection strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading product launches, positioning products, and scaling businesses in competitive markets

Annual salary disclosure applies to these states:
California, Colorado
Annual Salary: $138,000.00 - $335,100.00
