Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Architect with strong Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform / CDP) expertise to design, implement, and optimise advanced marketing automation and customer data solutions. You will be responsible for defining architectural standards, integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems, and enabling 1:1 personalisation at scale through unified customer data.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Mobile Studio, and Personalisation (Interaction Studio).
• Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud: data streams, data model objects (DMOs), identity resolution, data actions, calculated insights, and data activations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, and data synchronisation with external systems.
• Experience with SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, and data management tools.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft, Salesforce Flow, Snowflake, or AWS/GCP data services is a plus.
• Proven ability to design cross-cloud architectures (Marketing, Sales, Service, Commerce, and Data Cloud).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 6+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related Salesforce ecosystem products.
• Certifications:
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant / Developer / Architect certification(s)
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification (preferred or required)
