Registered Nurse

The Downtown Endoscopy Center is looking for an experienced, motivated RN for a position in a fast paced outpatient endoscopy center. RN is responsible for the care of the patient pre and post procedure for upper endoscopy and/or colonoscopy after moderate sedation. This is a part-time position 16 to 24 hours a week.

No weekends or holidays, hours may vary slightly, but can generally be between 730am-5pm Monday thru Friday.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform pre-procedure admission such as patient assessment and obtains IV access, educates patient on procedure
• PACU duties include continuous assessment, monitoring of the patient as well as education for disease process and discharge
• Telemetry knowledge and experience a plus
• Maintains quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Great interpersonal skills, collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Performs pre-procedure phone calls, instructs patient on bowel preps
• Performs follow up patient calls, ability to triage calls when needed

Experience:

Acute care nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Education:

Associates Degree RN

License:

Ohio RN

BLS certification, ACLS preferred but not required

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $32.00 - $40.00/hour.
