2050 Dairy Farm Crop Production Leader and Equipment Operator – New York Position available immediately on a huge dairy farm in West Central New York. You MUST BE KNOWN BY OTHERS AS A LEADER and self starter able to take charge of a crop crew when asked, able to take direction without oversight from the Crop Manager, considered a Team Leader AND a team player – CAN YOU FIT IN ANYWHERE- with recent and extensive crop experience and at least a 2 year degree or more. Farm raises corn and alfalfa and expects person to operate large trucks (with CDL preferred) and large modern "green" farm equipment, some with GPS. If you have intermediate mechanical skills enabling you to fabricate and weld field equipment, dairy barn stalls and buildings, you should apply. Bring additional skills regarding ordering seeds, planning the crop growing season and identifying weeds and stages of crop growth and you will likely be hired. Generous benefits available.
