Our client is a major bio-industrial organization seeking a dependable and hardworking Dairy Farm Worker to support daily operations in a dairy barn environment. This hands-on role involves cattle care, milking operations, feeding livestock, and assisting with general farm activities to ensure the health and productivity of the herd.
Located in Elk River, MN
Shift: 8-10 hour days Mon-Fri
Pay: $18-23/hour
Responsibilities
  • Handle and move cattle safely and efficiently throughout the facility
  • Operate milking equipment and perform routine milking procedures
  • Feed livestock according to established schedules and nutritional requirements
  • Monitor animal health and report any concerns to management
  • Clean and maintain dairy barns, feeding areas, and workspaces
  • Assist with general animal husbandry activities, including bedding, watering, and herd care
  • Support daily farm operations and perform other agricultural labor tasks as needed
  • Follow all farm safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity procedures

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
  • Hands-on cattle handling experience
  • Experience operating mobile power equipment such as tractors, skid steers, or similar farm machinery
  • Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience milking dairy cows using automated or machine milking systems is a plus
  • Experience feeding livestock and performing general animal husbandry duties
  • Previous agricultural farm worker experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
