Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist

A unique, rewarding opportunity for the right candidate! Any Lab Test Now! In Murfreesboro, Tennessee is looking for an experienced Full-Time Medical Assistant for our location. Strong phlebotomy skills are essential! Prior Laboratory or medical/Doctor's office experience required. Ability to proficiently administer injections required. This is an exciting opportunity for one experienced in phlebotomy (pediatric to elderly experience), drug testing, lab protocol, and customer / Patient (Client) Interactions.


Any Lab Test Now is a DIRECT ACCESS Laboratory, meaning our clients may come in for recommendations of tests based on their medical history or needs, or simply to get a basic checkup of the most often requested tests by doctors so they can monitor their own basic health. We do NOT diagnose but can refer clients to a doctor if necessary. We also have relations with doctors who send their self- pay patients to us because they trust our customer service, low cost, fast results, and personal interaction. Responsibilities include working directly with clients to recommend the most beneficial test or tests required by listening and understanding their needs

All candidates should possess the following skills:

REQUIRED:
* Three years of recent experience drawing blood
* Phone etiquette is extremely important
* Ability to call businesses and explain our services
* Ability to sell our products and services
* Knowledge of common blood tests
* Computer skills- usage of MS Word and Email. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
* Organizational skills- track inventory, keep records, order supplies
* Dependable and reliable
* Responsibilities include front and back office duties
* Work independently with team support and coaching
* Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug Screen

DESIRED:
* Experience with Quest or Lab Corp
* Experience doing drug screens
* Sales or customer service experience

Hours for the position are as follows: Monday to Friday 8:00AM- 5:00PM and Saturdays 9:00AM to 2:00PM
