Accounting Analyst II

Paratransit, Inc. is now accepting applications for a full-time Accounting Analyst II to perform meaningful and user-friendly internal and external analysis and reporting on data generated from Paratransit operational and financial databases. Employees in this classification receive direct to general supervision from the Chief Financial Officer or his or her designee within a framework of well-defined policies and procedures. This is not a remote position. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.

The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Knowledge of computer software required in completing assigned functions, including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Crystal Report Writer
• Knowledge of computerized financial record keeping/accounting systems
• Knowledge of general analytical and statistical methods
• Professional and/or academic experience in the preparation of clear, timely and comprehensive data analyses and reports
• Many tasks will include sensitive information and be of a confidential nature.
• This job class also requires planning and organizational skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to work with others to accomplish assigned tasks. Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of computerized financial record keeping/accounting systems
• Ability to quickly identify problem areas or situations, locate the causes, and take appropriate action to resolve problems identified
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or three years’ experience in accounting, finance or data analysis is required.
• Knowledge of computer software required in completing assigned functions, including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Crystal Report Writer
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster if eligible is required prior to first day of work.

Salary:

The starting salary is $27.00 per hour. This position includes a generous benefits package, including free Kaiser medical and MetLife dental for employee, low cost benefits for dependents, vision, chiropractic and life insurance, voluntary benefits, medical and dependent day care FSA accounts and 401k plan with an employer contribution after two years of service. Medical and Dental benefits start the first of the months after 30 days of employment.
