Senior Wealth Advisor - Ultra High Net Worth

This is a hybrid role in-office 2X/week in either Portsmouth, NH or Boston, MA.
Our client is looking for a Senior Wealth Advisor to join their growing ultra-high-net-worth (20MM+) wealth management firm with over 3B in Assets under Management. You will work closely with clients to gain a strong understanding of what is important to them and their overall investment and financial planning goals. By constantly monitoring their situation and staying informed of market trends, you will make recommendations and be a source of reliable advice. You will also be the primary point of contact to answer questions and manage projects relating to a range of services including estate and trust planning, tax analysis and planning, cash flow management and forecasting, philanthropic activities, closely held business planning, and insurance and asset protection working in conjunction with the full client team. Finally, you will pursue new business opportunities through relationships with clients and external contacts and actively participate in the Business Development process.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute various wealth management tasks and strategies on behalf of the client including but not limited estate, charitable, cash/liquidity, insurance, household employees, real estate and investment planning.
- Stay abreast of current developments within Wealth Management.
- Partner with Investment Advisors to ensure client teams are meeting quality control and timing standards.
- Manage and steer client relationships with knowledge of their situation and goals.
- Monitor their situation and provide ongoing recommendations.
- Serve as contact to answer questions and connect with other Lake Street experts.
- Coordinate and chair client meetings including setting up and driving agendas.
- Keep members of the client team informed of new developments and issues with clients.
- Manage third-party relationships and/or serve as liaison on the clients' behalf.
- Support junior wealth management staff with technical knowledge; aid in their growth and development.
- Pursue new business opportunities through relationships with clients and external contacts.
- Develop and maintain strong Center of Influence (COI) network that can serve as referral network for potential prospects and new clients.
- Actively participate in the Business Development process.
- Bachelor's Degree and the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) Designation achieved or in-progress.
- 5+ years experience in wealth management/financial planning/relationship management.
- Strong communication skills in working with clients, colleagues and external partners.
- Leadership skills - good at motivating people and winning the confidence of others, while helping drive efficiencies and utilizing the strengths of the client team and other available resources, both internal and external.
- Project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize accordingly and help spot and solve inefficiencies.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills - ability to balance both sides of an argument, distill problems to key criteria, provide qualitative and quantitative data as appropriate, and instill quality decision-making processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office with a demonstrated aptitude for mathematics and Excel spreadsheets is necessary; experience with Salesforce a plus.
- Some travel (approximately 20%) for client and Business Development meetings, as necessary
