Hotopp Creative Studio is a multidisciplinary studio leading the design, production, and creation of an eclectic array of projects across the entertainment, attraction, and experience design industries. Position Information:

Position Title: Associate Producer/ Production Manager

Reports To: Director of Production

Location: Remote or Seattle Based

Status: Full Time, Contractor-To-Hire

 

Position Summary:

We are currently looking to fill a full-time role for an Associate Producer / Production Manager that reports directly to the Director of Production. 

The ideal candidate understands project management across multiple creative disciplines and can find joy in a Gantt chart or a spreadsheet. You will be working with our internal design team as well as vendors and clients, you will ensure that projects are executed seamlessly. As the keeper of all things logistical, you will ensure that project budgets, schedules, shipping, and travel are all up to date and that the information is accessible for the rest of the team.

 

Position Qualifications/Essential Functions:

·         Ensures projects are running smoothly, removes obstacles as needed

·         Accountable to the success of key metrics for the project and client

·         Maintains systems, forms, documentation, and reporting for the department

·         Plans and manages departmental budget

 

 Education/Experience:

·         Sustained and successful experience with project management working with cross-disciplinary teams; works well across boundaries in a matrix-based organization

·         Experience with project management and prioritizing a variety of complex tasks

  • Have strong vendor management and working with public and private vendors (scenic, graphics, lighting, av etc.)
  • Experienced in complex negotiations with all stakeholders
  • Highly data-driven; using industry best practices

·         MS Office Suite, QuickBooks, Smartsheet (or similar PM software)

·         Understanding of how to read ground plans/build drawings (some AutoCAD would be a plus)

·         Minimum 4 years’ experience in entertainment show production, live event production and/or technical disciplines

  • Excellent self-management practices and a critical thinker; exceptional work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
  • Have a natural curiosity that helps you identify better ways to lead teams toward success

·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects – work prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across teams

·         Champions continuous process improvement

 

 

 

Physical Demands:

  • Occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 pounds

·         Requires looking at computer monitor/screen for extended periods of time

·         Requires repetitive motion and use of hands for computer keyboard and mouse

·         Requires sitting for extended periods of time

·         Requires travel to project/client sites

·         Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges
