Job description

The Studio Associate position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting in the upkeep of the studio, working safety and maintaining a high performance workplace.


Availability Requirements:

This is not a seasonal position. We’re looking for team members who are interested in growing with us. If you're only available during the summer, this position is not the right one for you.

We are looking for a staff member who can commit to 2-3 days per week, primarily nights and weekends.


Wage:

This position starts at $17 per hour and is tip eligible.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Greet, assist and direct customers 
  • Provide accurate information to guests regarding products, features, pricing, etc 
  • Ensure shelving is well stocked, organized and pulled forward 
  • Use the registers to handle all cash and credit card transactions properly, keeping the register neat and organized
  • Answer the phone in a polite and efficient manner: Our standard greeting is “Good morning/afternoon/evening, The Firestone”
  • Keep the studio spotless. The cleanliness of the studio is directly dependent on our efforts. We encourage constant and regular wipe-downs even during the busiest of times. Working in a messy area significantly decreases our efficiency. Please always clean up after yourself and work as a team. 
  • Maintain supplies of paper towels, toiletries, tissue paper, etc. Replenish the paint station and keep this area neat and orderly. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness of our guest area. Wipe down tables, sweep and mop to keep our studio welcoming and inviting for our guests! 
  • Lead parties in an efficient and confident manner within the timeframe of the scheduled event
  • Put away orders as they arrive 
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance
  • Contribute to the team atmosphere by learning from your teammates
