Position Summary Information
Position Title Adjunct Instructor, Acrylic Painting Employment Category Adjunct Contract Length N/A Expected Work Schedule Variable Anticipated Days 1-2 days a week Anticipated Hours 2.5 hours per class Anticipated Hours per Week 5-8 hours per week Job Description Summary
Teach face-to-face acrylic painting art classes to adult learners of various ages with all levels of painting experience. Must have a good understanding of the subject matter and color theory. Have a commitment to providing quality education. Keep accurate attendance records. Communicate information and instructions with clarity and patience
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to specific lessons. Keep the lab organized and clean. Demonstrate techniques as well as color theory weekly.
Minimum Requirements
1. Associate's Degree;
2. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in all aspects of acrylic painting;
3. Two years' experience teaching acrylic painting.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree: Fine Art. - BFA
2. 3+ years teaching experience.

  2. Transcripts outside of the United States, must be accompanied by an evaluation completed by a NACES recognized agency and received by Human Resources at least two weeks prior to the first day of work.
