Sr Product Designer

We are seeking a Sr Product Designer to become an integral part of our Product team. You will work collaboratively with Product and Engineering team to design and build a modern, cloud-based, construction accounting and business management platform, aimed at improving the way small business contractors operate and run their businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Create functional and appealing product designs for web and mobile applications
• Take ownership and work independently on a few projects at a time across multiple parts of the product
• Shape the CrewCost's brand and ensure a consistent experience across the product
• Design pixel-perfect work that represents the CrewCost's brand and product experience
• Rapidly iterate and refine design concepts, from initial briefing through final delivery
• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Key stakeholders to identify key design hypotheses and ensure design standards are met through deployment
• Test, learn and iterate on everything you do alongside the rest of the team

Qualifications:

• Must be located in Austin, TX. This is not a fully remote position
• Has 5+ years of product design, UI/UX design, visual design, or equivalent experience including 2-3 years in a consumer-facing product design role.
• Portfolio that demonstrates evidence of launching software at scale in a fast-paced product organization across multiple markets.
• Ability to work independently to explore concepts from beginning to end, yet also crave healthy feedback loops with your ideas.
• Outstanding attention to detail with a proven track record of working within and contributing to a design system.
• Proficient in Figma, including high-fidelity prototyping and design system
• Strong skills in UI/UX, interaction design, visual design, illustration and motion
• Values curiosity, humility and accountability
• Thrives in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
• Is comfortable working in a distributed work environment
