Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Para Teacher to join our educational team. As a Para Teacher, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support students in their learning journey. Your role will involve providing individualized assistance to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their academic goals, and creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. This position is an integral part of our commitment to delivering high-quality education and fostering student success.

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with various learning needs, including those with disabilities, English language learners, and students struggling academically
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, and managing classroom activities to ensure a productive and engaging learning environment
• Help maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior by implementing classroom management strategies and providing guidance to students
• Collaborate with special education teachers to implement and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring that their unique needs are met
• Assist in assessing students' academic progress and provide feedback to teachers, parents, and other educational professionals as needed
• Coordinate and utilize educational resources, materials, and technology to support students' learning and reinforce classroom instruction
• Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other school staff to exchange information about student progress, concerns, and achievements
• Foster an inclusive and accepting classroom environment that promotes diversity, equity, and respect among students and encourages peer interaction and collaboration
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students by adhering to school policies and procedures, including emergency response protocols
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills related to educational support and student engagement

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in education or a related field is a plus)
• Prior experience working with students, especially in an educational setting
• Knowledge of instructional methods and classroom management techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs of students
• Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and take initiative
• Basic computer skills for accessing educational resources and tracking student progress
• CPR and first-aid certification (preferred, but not required)
• Clearance of background check and fingerprinting in accordance with local regulations
