Para Educator Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist students with special needs, such as those with physical, emotional, learning, or behavioral disabilities

- Monitor student behavior and provide appropriate action as needed
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with changes in the field
Para Educator Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Must pass a background check
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
