Job Summary: As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's assets, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and property. Your primary responsibility will be to detect and prevent theft, fraud, and other security risks while maintaining a strong focus on customer service. This position demands a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify suspicious activities, potential threats, and policy violations within the facility.
• Theft Prevention: Actively deter theft and fraud by patrolling store aisles, engaging with customers, and maintaining a visible presence to deter potential wrongdoers.
• Inventory Control: Assist in inventory management by conducting regular audits, verifying merchandise counts, and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries while upholding a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and accidents promptly, following established procedures and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of security-related incidents, investigations, and daily activities, ensuring all reports are submitted in a timely manner.
• Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to minimize risks to assets, personnel, and the company.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with store management, Loss Prevention team, and other associates to address security concerns and implement preventive measures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in criminal justice or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or asset protection.
• Knowledge of security systems, CCTV operation, and theft prevention strategies.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Basic knowledge of criminal law and legal procedures.
• Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and respond to emergencies.
