What You'll Be Doing
As a Customer Support Representative for large equipment, you'll play a key role in supporting customers across your market area-including municipal and government accounts. This position is all about building strong relationships, selling parts and services, and delivering a standout customer experience. You'll work closely with new and existing customers to understand their needs, offer solutions, and ensure follow-through. Collaboration is key, as you'll partner with various departments to process orders and keep everything running smoothly.
Responsibilities
  • Represent and sell products and/or services to existing and new customers in the market area
  • Seek to engage with customers, build rapport understand their needs, and offer solutions
  • Provide robust customer service with a positive attitude to ensure the highest customer satisfaction
  • Customer service may include assisting with on-site machine setup and training customers
  • Work as a team player willing to help in any area of the store, between departments, as needed

Qualifications

Skills / Experience

  • Multi-tasking effectively is a must as well as staying organized and able to operate under stress
  • Comfortable using Word and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Long hours may be required to maximize sales and achieve/surpass annual sales goals
  • Pulling a trailer and hauling equipment
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record

Preferred
  • 1-3 yearsof Customer Service, with experience selling parts and service department services
  • CDL driver's license
  • Sales experience

Compensation is competitive and based on skill level, experience, and knowledge.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-Year Degree, such as an Associate of Applied Science, preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach as needed
  • Use of hands for tools, computer, and phone use
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Close vision required for reading
  • Sufficient hearing for communication in person and over the phone in active work environments
