About the Team
Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.
About the Role
Fanatics is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President, VIP. Fanatics VIP is a fast-paced, high-intensity part of the business, focused on building the best VIP and loyalty program in the world. This is a high-discretion, in-person role for someone who is relentlessly organized, proactive, and has a proven track record supporting C-level executives in demanding environments. The role requires exceptional judgment, poise, and the ability to represent the executive with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage a complex, high-volume calendar with competing priorities, last-minute changes, and significant domestic and international travel.
  • Coordinate all executive travel logistics, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries.
  • Manage and triage the executive inbox, exercising sound judgment to prioritize communications, surface critical issues, and draft responses as appropriate.
  • Ensure the executive is prepared for all internal and external meetings by developing briefing materials, gathering context, and tracking follow-through.
  • Partner closely with other members of the President's core team to coordinate priorities, communications, and executive logistics.
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders and external partners to drive follow-through on executive priorities.
  • Manage gifting, personalized outreach, and relationship logistics for high-profile partners and VIPs.
  • Handle highly confidential information with exceptional judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Anticipate executive needs, identify potential issues before they arise, and proactively solve problems.
  • Provide occasional support on personal matters as needed.
  • Occasional travel as business needs require, including support at key company events.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a founder or C-level executive within a fast-paced organization.
  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or a similarly high-velocity industry preferred.
  • Based in New York City, with the ability to work in person 5 days per week.
  • High responsiveness and flexibility, including availability outside of traditional business hours when the executive is traveling or operating across time zones.
  • Enthusiasm for high-importance, high-urgency environments and real-time problem solving.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to varying communication and management styles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complexity without dropping details.
  • Proactive, anticipatory work style; solves problems before being asked.
  • Ability to operate with high discretion in all settings.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to improve operating efficiency.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with sound judgment on when to escalate.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume executive inbox and prioritize communications with sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, and other productivity tools.

Depending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE-a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires. These sessions are designed to build connection and bring our culture to life, though specific travel and participation requirements will be confirmed based on your role and location. Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. The range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual offer is confirmed.
