Purpose of Position: 
This position is responsible for ensuring all project execution within their assigned phase, enforcing and monitoring process standards, facilitating employee development, and acting as the main escalation point for off-track projects within their phase. This role champions continuous improvement and mentors project managers to drive overall project and team success. 

Day to Day Responsibilities: 
Responsible for overseeing successful project execution within their assigned phase, ensuring deliverables are met in alignment with organizational expectations. 
Enforces and monitors process standards, ensuring consistency and quality in project management practices across teams. 
Drives employee development through managing objectives, supporting personal training plans, and tracking individual growth. 
Creates and maintains individual competency heat maps to assess capabilities and identify opportunities for employee development. 
Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring for project managers, fostering professional growth and a collaborative team culture. 
Identifies and reports suggestions for improving processes and standards to the PM Manager, supporting a culture of continuous improvement. 
Responsible for effectively resourcing projects within their phase, ensuring alignment with project needs and assignment criteria. 
Acts as the primary escalation point of contact (POC) for internal and external off-track projects within their phase, driving resolution and supporting risk mitigation. 

Travel Requirements: 
Up to 50% travel may be required, including both domestic and international travel based on business needs. 

Education & Experience: 
Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field. 
5+ years of experience in project management or technical team leadership. 
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop employees and project managers. 
Demonstrated success with process improvement and ensuring quality standards. 
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. 
  

Desired Skills: 
Experience with project management methodologies and standards. 
Passionate about employee development and team leadership. 
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in identifying and solving issues. 
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).

The range for this position is $121,756.00 - $167,415.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
