About the Role
The Sales Development Representative will play an integral role in generating net-new business through outbound opportunities and managing strategic conversations with our Enterprise Account Executives across prospect accounts to drive continued growth for our sales organization. Through consistent collaboration with Account Executives, you will align on strategy to prioritize and target a list of high-potential accounts within defined segments. You will directly impact business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment while engaging with key decision-makers across Enterprise organizations.
What the Candidate Will Do
  • Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments to boost business closing rates by providing sales with qualified, ready-to-engage opportunities.
  • Leverage cold calling and lead generation expertise to communicate with a high daily volume of prospective clients.
  • Execute strategic, targeted, and multifaceted prospect outreach to drive meaningful engagement as the first point of contact with potential customers.
  • Use a data-driven approach to outbound sales that incorporates account research, call cadences, email campaigns, social selling, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct account research and develop multi-threaded engagement strategies across key stakeholders and buying personas.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline while building relationships with a targeted list of high-potential Enterprise and Mid-Market prospects across a variety of industries.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and maximize prospecting effectiveness.
  • Consistently exceed monthly sales goals tied to high-quality qualified meetings set and pipeline generated.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions in Salesforce.
  • Act as an ambassador of Uber Freight's mission, brand, and solutions in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Basic Qualifications
  • Prior logistics/supply chain experience and 2+ years of outbound cold-calling experience required.
  • Experience prospecting into Enterprise B2B organizations.
  • Demonstrated success generating meetings and opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
  • Experience selling into Enterprise organizations and engaging with C-Suite and Executive Leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Self-starter with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen and understanding of company objectives.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Benefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees
Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more. US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.
Illinois: The target base salary for this position is between $49,000- $60,000
