In this role, you'll own the execution of Procore's integration program, partnering with Corporate Development during diligence on operational readiness and driving plans to execution. The primary goal of this role is to lead cross-functional integration teams, run governance, and ensure smooth post-acquisition transitions that deliver on strategic outcomes.
As a Director, M&A Integration, you'll partner with cross-functional leaders in Product, Go-To-Market, Finance, People, Legal, and IT to align workstreams, clear dependencies, and execute seamless integrations. This position reports to the VP of Corporate Strategy and can be based out of our Austin office or remotely, with a requirement for regular travel to Austin. We are looking for someone to join our team immediately.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with Corporate Development during diligence to assess operational feasibility, size execution lift, and surface Day 1 risks.
  • Build high-level strategy into executable integration programs with clear milestones, metrics, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate and align cross-functional leads across Product, Go-To-Market, Finance, People, Legal, and IT to maintain momentum.
  • Run the operating cadence and steering committees to keep program execution on track and resolve blockers proactively.
  • Provide clear, transparent visibility to executive leadership on integration progress, risks, and strategic trade-offs.
  • Drive cross-functional decision-making and resolve complex dependencies without formal authority.
  • Build, hire, and mentor a growing integration team as acquisition volume increases.
  • Leverage modern M&A program tooling and AI workflows to continuously optimize diligence and integration processes.

What We're Looking For
  • 5-7 years of experience in M&A integration, PMO leadership, or enterprise transformation, preferably in B2B software companies
  • 2-3 years of experience in top-tier consulting firm
  • Strong background in leading complex, cross-functional programs within global, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Proven experience designing and running executive steering committees and governance forums.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and leading team members over time.
  • Strong command of M&A program management tools and familiarity with AI-driven workflows in diligence and integration.
  • High comfort operating in ambiguous environments while bringing structure, clarity, and a bias for action.
  • Exceptional judgment with the ability to navigate competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
