Job description

NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It's a unique legacy of innovation that's fueled by great technology-and amazing people. Today, we're tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what's never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world's best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

NVIDIA's Finance AI & Data Science team is seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience driving complex business-facing projects to completion, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and meets business & technical requirements. We value multifaceted candidates who can help us innovate in new and unexpected ways.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leverage a strong understanding of finance and business processes to connect technical solutions to meaningful business problems, proactively identifying gaps.

  • Build lasting connections and relationships across NVIDIA and with external partners. Work closely to manage project communications with different functions and at different levels (e.g., finance leadership, IT, product teams, vendors).

  • Track requirements and owners on multiple simultaneous projects, following up on critical action items to meet tight deadlines and raising observed problems when necessary.

  • Understand the high- and low-level technical architecture of projects with AI, machine learning, data engineering, automation, application, and security elements. Facilitate debate and drive decisions on appropriate solutions.

  • Engage with technology directly, understanding the latest in AI and data science and applying your knowledge to keep it fresh.

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or similar related field.

  • 5+ years of experience using technology to solve business problems (e.g. data science, automation, BI, AI, etc.), including at least 3 years of technical project management.

  • Superb communication and organizational skills. The ability to understand and guide teams towards critical goals in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Hands on experience with business-facing technical work. An intuitive understanding of project failure points that enables you to guide others around them.

  • Experience in corporate/strategic finance roles (e.g. FP&A, M&A, treasury) or adjacent areas.

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications.
