As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Intel's buildings and infrastructure operate seamlessly, supporting our mission to deliver world-class technology solutions. You will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. As a Facilities Automation and Controls FMS TD Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide Facilities engineering support to factory customers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives. Own safety within area of influence. Ensure systems operate reliably to avoidmanufacturing/facilityor environmental excursions, own system documentation and maintenance strategy. Provide direct support of troubleshooting efforts for new and existing systems, including but not limited to end-of-life systems. Develops industrial instrumentation and automation systems required for maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and programming of existing analytical instrumentation for labs, manufacturing, and facilities systems. Designs and develops new control systems and tests and maintains and modifies existing systems. Continuous maintenance and upkeep of industrial automation systems is critical. Analyzes data and presents findings in written reports and provides advice and consultancy support. Manages projects within cost and time constrained environments and manages day-to-day operations associated with instrumentation and controls. Assists in purchasing equipment, writing computer software and test procedures. Conducts troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis, develops engineering solutions to address and rectify issues, and manages long-term equipment improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or similar Engineering discipline with 2+ years of experience or Master's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or similar Engineering discipline with 1+ years of experience.
  • Experienced mentioned above should be in Industrial automation platforms, such as GE Cimplicity or Rockwell Automation Control Logix PLC products used in Facility Automation Systems (PLC and SCADA).

Preferred Qualifications


- Experience leading facility expansion or layout design projects.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize operational systems.
- Prior experience in coordinating and overseeing contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.
