    About the Role

    Join Intel's dynamic sales organization as a Technical Sales Specialist, where you'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and customer success. This role combines deep technical knowledge with business acumen to drive market penetration and accelerate adoption of Intel's embedded Commercial Off-The-Shelf (eCOTS) solutions.

    You'll work at the intersection of technology and business, supporting customers and Business Development teams in developing compelling technical solutions that meet critical mission requirements across government and defense markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Sales Support & Solution Development

    • Partner with customers and Business Development teams to identify opportunities and develop tailored technical solutions
    • Support the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through successful product delivery
    • Provide technical expertise during customer presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions
    • Assist in positioning Intel solutions against competitive alternatives

    Market & Product Expertise

    • Develop comprehensive domain knowledge in eCOTS products, including procurement processes, contract vehicles, and sales channels
    • Stay current with Intel's product portfolio and emerging technologies relevant to customer needs
    • Understand industry trends and regulatory requirements affecting USG/DIB markets
    • Master the order-of-operations for product sales execution and delivery

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to gather customer requirements
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define business needs and support solution delivery
    • Build strong relationships with technical and solution sales teams to enhance engagement effectiveness
    • Contribute to product roadmap discussions based on customer feedback and market insights

    Sales Enablement & Market Development

    • Create and maintain technical sales collateral specifically for US Government and Defense Industrial Base markets
    • Support marketing initiatives with technical content and customer success stories
    • Contribute to trade shows, conferences, and customer events as a technical subject matter expert
    • Drive initiatives that increase market penetration and maximize customer value realization

    Core Competencies

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders
    • Ability to operate in a commission-based / performance-driven environment
    Qualifications:

    The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • US Citizenship required
    • Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or in a related technical field
    • 4+ years of experience in one of the following:
      • Technical sales
      • Solutions engineering
      • Business development or customer-facing roles
    • Experience supporting customer engagements and solution positioning
    • Experience in one of the following:
      • Sales lifecycle and pipeline development
      • Technical product positioning
      • Customer requirements gathering

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Active US Government Security Clearance, with a minimum of Secret level.
    • Experience in semiconductor, silicon, or integrated hardware/software solutions
    • Experience supporting or working within:
      • U.S. Government (USG)
      • Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
    • Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes
    • Experience with technical solution selling or consultative sales approaches
    • Experience working with Business Development teams and sales/marketing organizations
    • Experience translating technical concepts into customer-facing value propositions
    • Experience developing sales collateral and market-facing materials
